WWF: Stacy " The Kat " Carter, part 2

On October 29th, Eddie Guerrero (as part of his feud with Chyna) challenged Chyna to a match on Sunday Night Heat. Instead, The Kat would come out in her 'Chynette' clothing to Chyna's music, which led to a match on the following RAW between Eddie and Chyna, with The Kat in Eddie's corner. After Chyna failed to win, she took out her fustrations on The Kat by hitting her with a Chyna Bomb. The angle was then dropped at the request of Chyna.

After this, The Kat would make only occasional appearances on WWE programming, but not in any major feud or match. One such occasion saw her dressed in a red furry bikini, Santa hat, and robe, giving presents to Jerry 'The King' Lawler.

At No Way Out 2001 Steven Richards defeated Jerry 'The King' Lawler after The Kat accidentally hit Lawler with Ivory's Women's Championship belt. As a result of pre-match stipulations, The Kat was forced to join Right to Censor. Had The King won, The Kat would have been 'free to strip' and allowed to expose her breasts to the crowd. Also as a result of the loss, The Kat was forced to wear a black bag over her body with 'censored' written on it whenever she was on TV.

On February 27th, Carter was released from the WWF because Vince McMahon decided not to end the angle with the Right to Censor. It was rumoured that The Kat was fired because of a negative backstage attitude and worries that if she was made any more popular, she would be 'impossible to control'.

No further mention of her was made on WWF programming, except for a backstage promo by the Right to Censor where Steven Richards asked Val Venus "How could you let her do that to you?" regarding the storyline where the The APA and The King had The Kat 'seduce' Val. The WWE went ahead with the promo, simply leaving out any mention of who 'her' was. The WWF also changed the match at WrestleMania X-Seven to feature Tazz instead of The King, as he had left the WWF in protest of The Kat being released. The Kat was never mentioned again on WWE programming, but images of her (mostly of her about to expose her breasts at Armageddon 1999) were used in promos featuring the history of the Divas.

Stacy Carter worked in a doctor's office before meeting Jerry Lawler at a charity softball game in Memphis, Tennessee on July 23, 1989. Lawler and Carter became a couple, and Carter then trained as a cosmetologist before opening her own hair salon called "A Perfect Cut". In 1996, she began working alongside Lawler. Carter appeared in the film Man on the Moon (1999) as the girlfriend of Jerry Lawler. Carter married Jerry Lawler on September 29, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada, becoming the stepmother of Lawler's son Brian "Grandmaster Sexay" Lawler, despite being just three months older than him.

In 2001, Carter had meetings with Hugh Hefner about posing for Playboy. However, when she was fired from the WWF, Playboy decided not to negotiate so as not to risk damage to their mutually lucrative relationship with the Federation (Sable and Chyna had both appeared in issues which sold very well). Her firing led to Lawler actually walking out on the WWF (He returned later that year).

Carter and Lawler separated in July 2001 and later divorced, and on March 10, 2003, Carter was awarded a cash settlement and ownership of Lawler's condominium in Fort Myers, Florida, where she currently resides. Lawler was subsequently fined over his discussion of their relationship in his book It's Good to be the King...Sometimes because of a court order that prohibited him from making "disparaging remarks" about her.

Carter now works in the field of real estate in Southwest Florida and has completely severed all connections with the wrestling industry.

WWF: Stacy "The Kat " Carter - Part 1

Stacy Carter (born September 29th, 1971 in Memphis, Tennessee), better known as Miss Kitty or The Kat, is an American former pro wrestler and valet. She is best known as the ex-wife of wrestler Jerry "The King" Lawler. And yes she once held the WWE Women's Wrestling Championship.

Stacy Carter first appeared on WWF RAW in August 1999 as Miss Kitty, an assistant to Debra, appointed to her by Jeff Jarrett as a reward for coming back to work for him after a feud with D'Lo Brown. Within the next few months, Jarrett rejected Debra after a tag-team loss against Stephanie McMahon and Test, 'promoting' Miss Kitty to be his new manager.

Subsequently, Jarrett became involved in a feud against all of the women in the WWF by attacking them and wrestling 'miss-matches' against them while Intercontinental Champion. Jarrett would use Miss Kitty to gain an advantage, and in some cases, leave her to get beaten by his opponents. One such occasion was a mixed tag-team match that pitted Jarrett and Carter against Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah. Jarrett refused to tag in, allowing Miss Kitty to be defeated by the far more experienced wrestlers.

The partnership ended when Jarrett left the company after losing the title to Chyna at No Mercy 1999. Because she won the match, Chyna also won the services of Miss Kitty. Carter then became a 'Chynette', dressing in 'Chyna-like' clothing and dying her hair black. It was also at this point that she changed her name simply to The Kat.

At Armageddon 1999 in December 1999, Miss Kitty won her only WWE Women's Wrestling Championship in a Four Corners Evening Gown Pool match by defeating champion Ivory, Jacqueline, and Barbara "BB" Bush. The Special Guest Referees were The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young. After the match, Miss Kitty stripped out of her dress in celebration and flashed the crowd her breasts, before being covered up. This was The Kat's most infamous moment. This highlighted the "T and A" era of women's wrestling and showed what the division had become - more known for gimmicks and curves than actual wrestling ability. The Kat was cheered simply because she'd shown her breasts and because she might do it again.

Carter later lost the title on the January 31st edition of RAW to Harvey "Hervina" Wippleman in a 'Lumberjill Snowbunny Match'. Around the same time, the partnership between herself and Chyna was 'ended' with no explanation.

The Kat appeared at the Royal Rumble 2000 in the 'Miss Royal Rumble Swimsuit Contest'. She appeared in a bikini made out of bubble wrap. However, the contest was 'won' by Mae Young.

The Kat then entered into a lengthy feud with Terri Runnels. At WrestleMania 2000, Terri (accompanied by The Fabulous Moolah) defeated The Kat (with Mae Young) in a Catfight. Val Venis was the Special Guest Referee, but was distracted when Mae kissed him in response to Val making out with both Terri and The Kat. This allowed Moolah to pull The Kat out of the ring, and when Val saw her out of the ring, he declared Terri the winner. Post-match, The Kat attacked Terri by stripping her black pants off to expose her thong.

On the April 10th edition of RAW, The Kat was tricked by Terri into visiting a beauty salon to 'bury the hatchet'. Instead, Terri drugged her and gave her a bad cut and dyed her hair. As a result, The Kat changed her hair color and style on a regular basis, which would become part of her new gimmick. The feud would continue to an Arm Wrestling Match at Insurrextion 2000. The feud was cut short to allow Terri, now aligned with Perry Saturn, to feud with Chyna and Eddie Guerrero. The feud resurfaced in a 'Thong Stink Face' match at SummerSlam 2000 as part of Saturn's feud with Al Snow over the WWE European Championship. The Kat won the match by delivering a stinkface to Terri.

Previous Name: Keiko Nakano (Pro wrestling debut: - 1985), Bull Nakano (1985 - retirement)
Born: January 8th, 1968 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan
Pro wrestling debut: September 23rd, 1983 - Toda, Saitama, Japan
Height: 5'7"/170 cms
Weight: 198 lbs/90 kg

Bull Nakano (Keiko Nakano) is a former Japanese female pro wrestler.

At the age of 15, Keiko Nakano began her career as a pro wrestler in her homeland of Japan. She trained and performed with the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling wrestling promotion (AJW), and quickly became one of the greatest heels in the history of Japanese women's pro wrestling.

After winning the AJW Junior Championship under her real name, her identity was changed to Bull Nakano and she teamed with the legendary Dump Matsumoto to feud with the popular Crush Gals (Chigusa Nagayo and Lioness Asuka). With Matsumoto as her partner, Nakano won the WWWA Tag Team championship. She would win the title a second time with Condor Saito as her partner.

Nakano briefly wrestled for the WWF in 1986 teaming again with Dump Matsumoto known as the Devils of Japan.

In 1990, Nakano won a tournament to win the vacant WWWA World Heavyweight Championship, and would go on to hold the title for nearly three years, before dropping it to Aja Kong.

Nakano also travelled to Mexico where she captured the CMLL Women's title, becoming the first person to hold that belt. She then made her way to the United States and competed for the World Wrestling Federation. Brought in by Luna Vachon, Nakano dominated the WWF Women's champion, Alundra Blayze, in a series of matches and won the WWF Women's Championship on November 20, 1994 in Tokyo, Japan. Thus, Bull Nakano is the only person to have held both the WWWA World Heavyweight Chamionship and the WWF Women's Championship, both of which have a historic lineage, dating back to 1937 and 1956 respectively. Consequently, she is also the first female of Asian descent to win the WWF/WWE Women's Championship.

Nakano held the title for five months, until losing the title back to Blayze on April 3, 1995 in Poughkeepsie, New York. The WWF had planned on bringing in Bertha Faye to feud with Nakano while Blayze got a nose and breast job, but Nakano was found in possession of cocaine and quickly fired from the company.

Nakano returned to Japan, where she continued to compete in AJW, then went back to the United States in 1996 to feud with Blayze, now going by her original ring name, Madusa, in World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

That was the last time Bull Nakano was seen on North American television. She continued to wrestle in Japan, but retired in 1997 to pursue a career in professional golf.

In the years following her retirement, Nakano began to diet and gradually lose much of the weight she had to maintain to stay in her role as one of AJW's monster heels, going from a peak of 250 pounds down to 143 pounds. In 1998, Nakano released a book about her weight loss called Bull Nakano no Diet Nikki: 19-gou Size no Watashi ga 9-gou Size ni (Translated: Bull Nakano's Diet Journal: How I went from a Size 19 to a Size 9).

In January 2006, Nakano, still pursuing her pro golf career, joined the Duramed Futures Tour on the Ladies Professional Golf Assocation. She is currently based in Orlando, Florida, USA.

Real-Life Tension Between Candice Michelle & Melina, Part 1

Real-Life Tension Between Candice Michelle & Melina
03/15/2007 by Ryan Clark

Candice Michelle appeared on the Monday Night Mayhem radio show on 3/15 (audio can be found on and she had some things to say regarding fellow RAW Diva Melina Perez.

Candice and Melina had recently engaged in a "blog battle" on It all started last month when Candice accused Melina of stealing one of her trademark moves in a recent match. Candice called the Inverted STF maneuver the 'Candy Clutch' whereas Melina called it 'The California Dream'. In Melina's next blog, she started off by saying, "I read Candice's blog, and I have to say I laughed so hard! Now that I'm officially on top, the jealousy is going to come out of the woodwork at full speed." In response to Candice's accusations, Melina said that she had been using the move for several years on the indy circuit before she signed with WWE in late 2003. At the time, the move was called the Kyrapractor after her character Kyra, which was one of the names she used on the independent circuit. Melina even made it a point to have a photo of her performing the maneuver while on the indy circuit posted alongside the blog. Melina then went on a long rant on how hard it was for her to make into WWE. Melina then switched the focus back to Candice by saying, "Candice Michelle, what wrestling school have you gone to? How did you get your job here with WWE? Candice, do you actually think in that pathetic pea brain of yours that I want to be you? All you are known for is Big whoop! That's all you got! I'm living my dream! I'm The Most Dominant Diva in wrestling, Manager of Champions and the Women's Champion! Yeah, as if I'd trade spots with you. I'm an athlete, what are you?"

Considering that the posts were made on, one would think that things being said were to help build conflict for a future storyline between the two WWE Divas. However, Melina is currently occupied in a WrestleMania program with Ashley Massaro. Also, Melina and Candice have yet to have a match or altercation on television since the blogs were made. And to further prove that what was being said was not part of a storyline, Candice noted in her interview that WWE refused to post her last blog on the company's website in which she responds to Melina's rant on her. In the unpublished blog, Candice said that she responded to Melina by saying that she's not in WWE just to be on television, but because she actually wants to be a wrestler. In the interview, Candice also added, "I would not stay in the cheapest hotels like the Red Roof Hotel and, and, deal with her backstage if I just wanted to be on TV. I live in Hollywood. I've been in Hollywood. I've been in numerous movies, commercials, you name it. I'm there because I want to learn to wrestle."

The Bette Boucher Story

female wrestling, ladies pro wrestling, beautiful ladies of wrestling, woman of wrestling

The Bette Boucher Story
By Mike Mooneyham
Dec. 10, 2006

Barbara Ellison stands barely 5 feet tall, and loves to talk about gardening and grandchildren.

She's also pretty good at throwing a fishing line or a softball when she's not working at the Summerville Lowe's where she has been a fixture for the past 13 years.

Her Boston accent has been slightly compromised by living in the Lowcountry for nearly half of her 63 years, and the mix has given her a pleasant tone that is assertive yet soothing.

But don't let her soft, grandmotherly demeanor fool you.

For once upon a time, when pro wrestling was a weekly staple on grainy, black and white television, Ellison - known then by her stage name of Bette Boucher - was a queen of the mat. And although she wrestled professionally for less than 10 years, she carved out a special piece of ring history by winning the women's world heavyweight wrestling championship in 1967.

She quit that gimmick and showed up in the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions in 1985 and became the valet for Tully Blanchard. She was known as "The Perfect Ten", Baby Doll. She assisted Blanchard in his feuds against Dusty Rhodes and Magnum T.A..

In 1986, Blanchard added James J. Dillon to manage him and was on the verge of forming the original Four Horsemen. Tully publicly fired her and to get heat slapped her down. Dusty Rhodes came to the rescue and she helped Dusty Rhodes feud with the Horsemen. Later in 1986, at a weekly Monday night TV taping in Greenville, S.C., Jim Cornette and Beautiful Bobby Eaton attacked her with the tennis racket. She returned with The Warlord to get revenge. He was green though, so he was sent away for more training after a brief feud with Big Bubba Rogers. During the 1986 Great American Bash, she teamed with several different wrestlers to battle against Cornette and his Midnight Express. Her team mates included Dusty Rhodes, Magnum T.A., Dick Murdoch, and the Legion of Doom, Hawk and Animal, the Road Warriors. August 1986, Baby Doll turned on Rhodes. During a World Title match in Charlotte, North Carolina, Baby Doll put the foot of Ric Flair on the rope to stop the 3 count. Dusty was in total disbelief of Baby Doll's actions. Flair took advantage of the stunned Rhodes and pinned him for the NWA World Title. After a brief run with Ric Flair, the Crockett booking office sent her to the Central States Territory. Nickla was sent away because of the bookers' (especially Dusty Rhodes) disapproval of her recent marriage to wrestler Sam Houston.

She left the NWA for the UWF in 1987 with her new husband, Sam Houston. She traveled the independents with Houston until her return to the NWA to work with the Living Legend Larry Zbyszko, whom she managed in a short feud with Barry Windham over the Western States Title. Baby Doll's marriage to Sam Houston again made her NWA return brief. The NWA office saw it as a conflict of interest. Baby Doll's husband was working for the rival WWF promotion.

Nickla gave birth to a daughter, Mikka Tyler (Smitty), in early 1991; a second daughter, Mikala Joy, came the following year. Baby Doll chose to devote her time to her new baby girls instead of returning to wrestling. She divorced Houston in 1994, claiming Houston wanted to "be the life of the party."

She returned for WrestleReunion in Tampa, Florida in 2005 to manage TNA Champion Jeff Jarrett in his successful title defense against Tully Blanchard.

TNA: Traci Brooks, Part 3

female wrestling, ladies pro wrestling, beautiful ladies of wrestling, woman of wrestling

Traci eventually left Rhodes' side and began managing Chris Sabin, who was feuding with Michael Shane and Trinity. At Lockdown on April 24, she tried to prevent Trinity from interfering in a four way X Division Xscape elimination match between Sonjay Dutt, Chris Sabin, Shocker and Shane. Her attempt failed when Trinity pushed her off the side of the cage and she landed on her bare feet, seemingly injuring herself in the attempt. This led to Trinity executing a Fall from Grace moonsault from the top of the cage and landing on top of Shane, Sabin and Shocker. Traci would later get into the cage and engage in a catfight with Trinity. The feud continued until Hard Justice on May 15, when Sabin and Traci lost to Shane and Trinity. In the course of the match, Traci turned on Sabin and Shane turned on Trinity, with Traci aligning herself with Shane once again and Trinity siding with Sabin.

Traci began managing Shane once again and stayed with him when he changed his name to his real name, Matt Bentley. When Bentley sat out during contract renegotiations in August 2005, she did some interview work for TNA. At Unbreakable on September 11, Traci acted as a backstage interviewer throughout the event. She returned to Bentley's side after his return at Unbreakable.

In February of 2006, Bentley went on to turn heel and dispute with long time tag partner Lance Hoyt. Following the feud, Bentley was sidelined with an injury. Traci did promotional work for the company during the downtime.

On the May 15th taping of iMPACT!, she wrestled Gail Kim in the first woman's match in over a year. The match was taped purely for the forthcoming TNA Knockouts DVD and not for the Spike TV program. Gail Kim gained the pin after interference from America's Most Wanted. At Hardcore War 2006 she defeated Gail Kim with Christy Hemme as referee.

Traci was announced as Robert Roode's manager at Bound for Glory 2006, and now goes by the name "Ms. Brooks." She managed him during the Fight for the Right Tournament at the October 28 iMPACT. She lost to Eric Young in a bikini contest at TNA Turning Point. After this, she was told to sign Young to a contract, no matter what - no matter what it took to do it. In the past few weeks, Ms. Brooks has been (kayfabe) pressuring him into having sex with her. Finally, at Against All Odds 2007 Ms. Brooks successfully seduced Young into signing a contract with "Robert Roode Inc."

TNA: Traci Brooks, Part 2

female wrestling, ladies pro wrestling, beautiful ladies of wrestling, woman of wrestling
Brooks debuted in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on April 30, 2003, attacking Lollipop, a dancer who entertained the live audience during intermissions.
The following week, Brooks demanded to be entered in a gauntlet match in which the winner would receive a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, threatening to sue NWA official Bill Behrens for sexual discrimination if he did not comply. When her threats failed, Brooks instead attempted to charm Behrens into allowing her into the match. Behrens then placed Brooks in a triple threat match with fellow female wrestlers Desire and Trinity, with the winner gaining entry into the gauntlet match. After Kid Kash ambushed Trinity and David Young accidentally punched Desire, Brooks won the match. Later that evening, she was attacked by Lollipop as she approached the ring to enter the gauntlet match. After she entered the ring, Brooks was quickly pinned and eliminated by Kid Kash.

On May 21, Brooks was paired with David Young in an "Anarchy Alliance" tag team tournament to determine the number one contenders to the NWA World Tag Team Championships. They defeated Kid Kash and Trinity on May 21 and Ron Killings (whose partner, Don Harris, had refused to team with him) on June 4, but lost to America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) in the finals on June 11.

On the June 18, 2003 TNA pay-per-view, Brooks formed an all-female stable with Nurse Veronica and Valentina. The stable quietly disbanded shortly thereafter when Veronica turned down a proffered TNA contract and Brooks was removed from television for repackaging.

Brooks returned to TNA on November 5, 2003, helping Shane Douglas defeat The Sandman. On November 26, Douglas and Brooks (known now simply as Traci) helped Michael Shane defeat Sonjay Dutt. Following the match, the trio celebrated, and Douglas announced that they were to be called "The New Franchise".

The New Franchise began feuding with Triple X (Christopher Daniels, Low-Ki and Elix Skipper). The feud lasted until April 21, 2004, when Shane lost to Daniels after he passed up on a pinfall opportunity in order to try and hit his finisher. After Douglas admonished Shane, Shane began pushing and slapping his erstwhile mentor. Traci eventually grabbed Douglas from behind, enabling Shane to superkick Douglas. The following week, Traci helped Shane defeated Douglas in a singles match.

Traci continued to manage Shane, who was by now pursuing the TNA X Division Championship. Shane proved unable to defeat the incumbent champion, A.J. Styles, so he and Traci recruited Frankie Kazarian in order to maximise their numbers advantage. The result was a new stable/tag team that was known by fans as Shazarian. After several weeks of confrontations, Styles defended his title against Shane and Kazarian in a three way Ultimate X match on July 28, 2004. Though he was able to nullify the interference of Traci by giving her a Styles Clash, he was eventually knocked unconscious by the combined efforts of Shane and Kazarian. Shane and Kazarian then climbed for the X Division Championship, and simultaneously retrieved the belt, thus becoming co-champions. They lost the titles to Petey Williams in a Gauntlet Match on August 11.

In late-2004, Traci turned face by leaving Shane and Kazarian and becoming the assistant of the TNA Director of Authority, Dusty Rhodes. However, Trinity also wanted to be Rhodes' assistant, so he told each woman to recruit a new tag team. The teams would face one another at Destination X 2005 on March 13, 2005, with the winning team's manager becoming Rhodes' sole assistant. Traci's team (Ron and Don Harris, the Disciples of Destruction) defeated Trinity's team (Big Tilly and Bruno Sassi - Phi Delta Slam), making her Rhodes' assistant.

WCW: Stephanie Bellars

Ring name(s) Gorgeous George,George,George Frankenstein,Minsa
Billed height 5 ft 7 in (1.70 m)
Billed weight 125 lb
Born January 25, 1976,Sarasota, Florida
Trained by Nora Greenwald, WCW
Pro Wrestling Debut: 1998

Stephanie Bellars is a professional wrestling valet and the former girlfriend of "Macho Man" Randy Savage. She has been known as Gorgeous George and George Frankenstein.

She should not be confused with the famous 1940s male professional wrestler known as Gorgeous George.

Stephanie made her Pro Wrestling Debut: in WCW at the 1999 Spring Stampede PPV as Gorgeous George. She was dating Randy Savage at the time and was brought in as his valet, after he had parted ways with Miss Elizabeth again. She had met Savage in 1997 at a strip club where she was working as a stripper.

They only made one appearance and Randy got injured so she did not make it back to WCW TV until April 1999. Savage started feuding with Ric Flair so she started feuding with Flair's biased referee, Charles Robinson. In one of their skirmishes on WCW Monday Nitro, Flair "accidentally" grabbed her the wrong way and her top moved enough to partially expose her breasts on national television.

She had a wrestling match against Robinson at the Slamboree PPV on May 9, 1999. She used Savage's moves and Robinson mimicked Flair, who was his idol growing up. Stephanie pinned Robinson after a flying elbow drop off the ropes.

She did not want to wrestle again, so they replaced her in future matches with Madusa. They claimed that she was injured from the match, so she used crutches to get around. She soon used those crutches on "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and turned heel.

After leaving WCW, she went to a WWF event with her friend, Molly Holly. She was asked to appear on WWF TV and to confront Chyna. She told them no as she felt that she was not ready for the WWF yet.

In 2000, she returned briefly to ECW as George. Savage had Gorgeous George trademarked and would not let her use the name. She was Tommy Dreamer's valet for his match at Heatwave 2000 and turned on him, siding with Justin Credible. She was also in a brief feud with Francine.

In 2001, she appeared for GLOOW as a referee and also married Misfits punkrocker, Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein on September 1. She officially changed her name to George Frankenstein.

In mid-2001, she became a member of the X-Girls in the XWF with Kristina Laum and Chiquita Anderson. They were similar to the Nitro Girls from WCW. They came out and danced to entertain the fans during commercials. In early 2002, she left the XWF or was fired for missing shows, depending on who tells the story. The XWF folded shortly after that.

She has since appeared on the independent circuit for 3PW and WEW. In 2004, she had a few brief appearances in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as Minsa. She came out to watch Jeff Jarrett in action. She disappeared from TNA after that.

She is still active on the exotic dancing circuit as a stripper in 2005. She also appeared in an adult film under the name George Frankenstein.
