Here is British female wrestler Tina Starr who was very popular back in the day.
She started out as a very young lady but as you can see, she progressed and developed a body that would make a fitness model proud.

WWE Survivor Series (1987)

At the first Survivor Series pay-per-view event produced by the then World Wrestling Federation (WWF), The Fabulous Moolah, Rockin' Robin, Velvet McIntyre, and The Jumping Bomb Angels (Itsuki Yamazaki and Noriyo Tateno) defeated Sensational Sherri, The Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai and Judy Martin), Donna Christanello, and Dawn Marie (with Jimmy Hart).
The Jumping Bomb Angels became the survivors for Moolah's team and won the match.

Mildred Burke - Classic Women's Pro Wrestling

Mildred Burke was probably one of the baddest women to ever set foot in a ring.
When we hear about the early days of womens wresting, we hear about Moolah.
But Mildred Bliss (her real name) started out in 1935, The Fabulous Moolah didnt start until 1949.
She was the World Women's Championship (three times), the NWA World Women's Championship (one time) and the WWWA World Heavyweight Championship (one time).
And her "Shoot" match with June Byers is legendary.

Ana Marie Martinez - British Womens Pro Wrestling

Old school British Women's Pro Wrestling star Ana-Marie Martinez.
I think Ana's real name may have been Beverley Cohen, but I'm not sure.
Ana was to say the least....curvy.
You rarely see women built like that wrestling today.

Judy Martin vs Susan Sterling - Classic Women's Pro Wrestling

Here is an old pro ladies wrestling match with Judy Martin taking on Susan Sterling.
Judy of course held a lot of titles back in the day including the All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling All Pacific Championship, the LPWA Tag Team Championship (with Leilani Kai), the PWGA Championship (1 time), the NWA United States Women's Championship and the WWF Women's Tag Team Championship (again with Leilani Kai).
If I am right, Susan Sterling also wrestled under the name Sabrina, and was trained by The Fabulous Moolah

Brandi Alexander - Classic Womens Pro Wrestling

Brandi Alexander was always one of my favorite Indy female wrestlers.
She was born on March 1st, 1974 in Fayetteville, West Virginia and was trained at "The Monster Factory" by "Pretty Boy" Larry Sharpe and Glenn Ruth (aka Thrasher, one half of the tag team The Headbangers).
Brandi made her pro wrestling debut in 1993.
She has worked for a ton of wrestling promotions here in the US and Canada like Appalachian Pro Wrestling, Canadian Wrestling Alliance, Carolina Wrestling Federation, Frontier Wrestling Alliance, Ladies All-Pro Wrestling the World Wide Wrestling Alliance and World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
This five foot seven, 130 pound beauty had feuds with some of the best including Lexie Fyfe, Malia Hosaka, Molly Holly, Leilani Kai and Sherri Martel.
Besides wrestling, she is also trained in Kickboxing.

Madusa's Birthday!

Back on February 9th, 1964, WCW and WWF / WWE wrestler Debrah Anne Miceli was born in Milan, Italy.
Yes "Made in the USA" was actually born in Italy.
Besides "Madusa", she also wrestled under the name Alundra Blayze.

She debuted in 1984 and worked for wrestling promotions like American Wrestling Association (1986 to 1989), All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling (1989 to 1991), World Championship Wrestling (1991 to 1993 and again from 1995 to 2001) and the World Wrestling Federation (1993 to 1995)

Shirley Strimple - Classic Lady Wrestling

This is classic ladies wrestler Shirley Strimple.
Shirley was born in Joplin, Missouri and was the wife of pro wrestler Roy McClarity.
Her nickname was "The Wrestling Housewife" and she was five foot four, 130 pounds.
Shirley passed away in 1989.

Lena Blair - British Women's Pro Wrestling

Here's another shot of one of the greats of British classic women's wrestling, Lena Blair (Barbara Swann).
Lena was also known as Miss Lena and Leather Lena.
I believe this is a picture from the 1980s when she had gotten into bodybuilding.

Rita Cortez - Classic Womens Wrestling

Classic female pro wrestler Yolanda Gutierrez, better known as Rita Cortez.
She was trained by the Fabulous Moolah, and in her book, "The Fabulous Moolah: First Goddess of the Squared Circle" she said, "Rita was a dark-skinned Mexican girl, and I just loved her to death".
But Rita went all "Single White Female" on Moolah and wound up stealing her husband Buddy Lee.
That ended the friendship.

Wendi Richter - Female Wrestling

So today let's go back to the 1980s and Wendi Richter.
For a while there Wendi was incredibly popular and pretty much everywhere.
This five foot eight, 140 pound beauty held the AWA Women's Championship, the NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship (with Joyce Grable), she was the NWF Women's Champion, she held the WWC Women's Championship twice and she held the WWF Women's Championship twice.

Here is a really nice picture of one of my favorite female wrestlers, Magnificent Mimi (Mimi Lesseos) and her manager Johnathan Blue.
I think this is from when she was in the Ladies Professional Wrestling Association (LPWA).
