Leva Bates - Women of Wrestling

Leva Bates - Women of Wrestling

Leva Bates is so cool.
I have seen pictures of her at comic book conventions, dressed up as superheroes and anime charcters.
She's like a female Indy wrestler version of the Hurricane, only better.
Leva is five foot two, 120 pounds and she's from Gotham City (?) Florida.
(Really she's from Madisonville, Kentucky)
She was trained by Team 3D Academy and made her pro wrestling debut in March 0f 2007 and has worked for a ton of wrestling promotions like SHIMMER, Full Impact Pro, Coastal Championship Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Fusion and World Xtreme Wrestling.
Though she was never on the TNA roster, she did show up on TNA during Awesome Kong’s $25,000 Challenge.

And here's the video from March 29th, 2008 of Leva taking on Kong...

Indy female wrestler Mia Yim is getting a lot of attention.

Mia was born on April 16th, 1989 in Southern California and was trained by CA Elliott, John Kermon, Mark Bravura and Christian York.

Updates on Juliet "The Huntress"

I haven't done anything on the lovely female wrestler Juliet "the Huntress" in awhile, so here's some more stuff about her.
You may recall that Juliet was nice enough to do an interview with me over at my Beautiful Women of Wrestling blog, so of course that elevates her in my eyes.
But this young lady has the look, talent and charisma that makes you wonder why TNA or the WWE haven't snatched her up yet.

More On Serena Deeb

Serena Deeb has had a pretty long and colorful career as a female wrestler.
I did a write up on her back in March of 2008, when everyone knew her as Serena Deeb, but now you may be more familiar with her as Mia Mancini, Serena Mancini or just Serena, a member of CM Punk’s “Straight Edge Society” group along with Luke Gallows.
And as you probably know, she shaved her head on her WWE TV debut on January 22, 2010, as part of Punk’s crusade to get people into the straight edge lifestyle.

More On Serena Deeb

But before Serena went all "Molly Holly" on us, she was a respected Indy wrestler.
One of the wrestling rumors is that the reason Serena was moved up to the main roster was that she was willing to shave her head.
That showed Brand loyalty.

Before moving up to the WWE main roster, she wrestled at Florida Championship Wrestling, where she was the Queen of FCW, before finally loosing the crown (literally) to AJ Lee.
She was the Memphis Championship Wrestling, MCW Women's Champion once, the NWA France Women's Champion and the Ohio Valley Wrestling Women's Champion six times.

Serena also worked for Shimmer Women Athletes, Ring of Honor, did an appearance on TNA Wrestling (as part of Awesome Kong's $25,000 Fan Challenge), did some work for Pro Wrestling Syndicate, when to France to wrestle for the International Catch Wrestling Alliance and worked for American Wrestling Rampage.

Actually what got me thinking about Serena was me running across this match posted by HybridDolphinELPS on YouTube of "Mia" Mancini taking on WWE Diva Gail Kim.
Usually Hybrid gets mentioned on my Joshi blog, but this was too good to pass up.

And no, I am not switching my focus off the Indy female wrestlers, it's just that Serena is one of the ladies that has worked her way up through the ranks.
I just hope she isnt wasted with the WWE like a lot of other good female talent is.

Female Wrestling - Krissy Vaine

It's been a long time (since 2007 actually) that I have done anything on female pro wrestler Krissy Vaine.
And that's a shame too, since Krissy (Kristin Eubanks) was born only a few miles from where I grew up in NC!

Female Wrestling - Krissy Vaine

Krissy made her pro wrestling debut back in 2003 as Special K.
But before that, she had been a manager since 2000.
She has worked for wrestling promotions like CWF Mid Atlantic, Professional Girl Wrestling Association, Women Extreme Wrestling, Memphis Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance and Shimmer Women Athletes.
In 2006 she signed a developmental contract with the WWE and went to Deep South Wrestling.
She had a pretty good run there, becoming the "General Manager for DSW".
While she was there, she had a feud with Angel Williams (who you may know better as TNA Knockout Angelina Love) and was in DSW at the same time as Nattie Neidhart (Natalya), Brooke Adams, Tracy Taylor and Shantelle Taylor (Taylor Wilde).

Krissy only appeared on SmackDown! once, attacking Torrie Wilson after her match with Victoria.
Sadly, she and her boyfriend Ryan O'Reilly left the WWE the next month.

Krissy is still wrestling on the Indy circuit and is also a writer for Diva Dirt.
She has her own podcast there called The Krissy Vaine Project.

If you want to keep up with Krissy you can catch her at Diva Dirt:
http://www.diva-dirt.com/
Or her Twitter account:
http://twitter.com/krissyvaine13

After all this time, I still think she is one of the prettiest women in Pro wrestling!

Wrestlicious - Wrestling News and Rumors

Wrestlicious - wrestling news and rumors

Here is the latest video for the upcoming Wrestlicious female wrestling show.

(By the way Wrestlicious people, many thanks for allowing embedding so that we can help spread the word.)

Even though they dont as of yet have a distributor, they have built up a presense on the web.

They have a MySpace page:
http://www.myspace.com/wrestliciousbaby
(I'm in their top forty friends! Go me!)

A Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wrestlicious/144824402691

And a Twitter account:
http://twitter.com/Wrestlicious1

And of course their own YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/WrestliciousBaby

(Yes JV Rich I am giving you all kinds of free PR here...LOL)

Without a network deal (Fox was mentioned in the beginning stages of the promotion, but it looks like that is gone now) it looks like Wrestlicious' best bet is syndication.
Why not?
That's what made GLOW a cult hit.
And you have to look at this as a reboot in a way.
I almost wish they could have gotten the rights to the original GLOW characters and actually made the show a reboot of GLOW.
But hey, you dont get famous by just reusing the other guys ideas do you?
(Okay...I know, don't tell the motion picture industry that)

The upside of Wrestlicious is that from what I have seen of their roster, most (if not all) of their wrestlers can really...ummm...wrestle.
(Side note here, could Wrestlicious please put out an actual roster list so I don't have to keep guessing?)
That puts them ahead of one of the "other" major wrestling promotions.
And it gives lots of Indy female wrestlers a chance to shine.
So I'll be watching the show when it comes out for that reason if nothing else.

Female Wrestling - Sara Jay

I don't know if Sara Jay took the snake to the ring ala Jake Roberts, or if this is just a promo for Snakepit Pro Wrestling...

We seem to have an influx of Australian female wrestlers on here, and here is another, Sara Jay.
This beautiful young lady was born on May 11th in Warwick, Australia.
She may only stand 5 feet tall and weigh in at 110 pounds, but this is a lot of fight in her, as she takes on both female and male wrestlers.

Sara has held the WCWA Junior Girls Championship, the MIW Womens belt, the NAW Womens Championship and the WWC Womens title.

She has worked for Riot City Wrestling, PWWA, Ultimate Wrestling Alliance, PWA QLD, Snakepit Pro Wrestling, PWA Elite, MIW, Nightmare Wrestling, IWA, PWA Underground and AAW in Australia and World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico.

Kellie Skater - Female Wrestling

This young lady from Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia is Indy wrestler Kellie Skater.
She was trained by George "Hitman" Julio and Mike Burr / Mike Manson (Alpha) and she made her pro wrestling debut in March of 2007 in a battle royal.
As Kellie she is a clean scientific wrestler, but when she switches to the "Rate Tank"....watch out!
Besides wrestling in Australia, Kellie has wrestled for SHIMMER here.
SHIMMER seems to have a fair amount of Australian wrestlers.

Female Wrestling - Kellie Skater-Reby Sky Reby Sky punishing Kellie

Her finishing moves are the "Skate and Destroy" (Code Red, Leg trap sunset flip powerbomb) and the "Skate or Die" (an inverted STF).

Shimmer Women Athletes

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The awesome Rain

I talk a lot about Shimmer here, but I have never really taken the time to highlight just what it is.
Shimmer is called Shimmer Women Athletes or SHIMMER Women Athletes or just plain SHIMMER.
It is a Chicago based female independent pro wrestling promotion created by Dave Prazak and run by him and Allison Danger.
Shimmer held it's first event on November 6, 2005.
SHIMMER is closely affiliated with ROH (Ring of Honor) and is the home of probably the best female wrestling you will see.

And the list of SHIMMER wrestlers from the past and present is long and stellar.
Just a few of the female wrestlers that have worked for the company are Rain, Ariel, Jetta, Cat Power, Nevaeh, Daffney, Lorelei Lee, Cheerleader Melissa and Jennifer Blake.

Of course many SHIMMER stars ( like Amazing Kong (Awesome Kong), Cheerleader Melissa (Raisha Saeed) , Daffney, Nikki Roxx (Roxxi) and for a short time, Rain, as Payton Banks ) have gone onto work for TNA.

And Beth Phoenix and Nattie Neidhart (Natalya) also worked for Shimmer at one time.
.
I really cant say enough about this organization, so the best thing to do is check out their website here:
http://www.visuex.com/shimmer/index.php

Or you can go to their MySpace page here:

And she has a picture of Harley Quinn on her profile so she's cool.
Actually she seems to like superheroes a lot.

Sabrina Kyle - Womens Pro Wrestling

Anyway, she's worked for wrestling promotions like LLWA, Extreme Wrestling League, Fighting Spirit Pro Wrestling (FSPW), Great Canadian Wrestling (GCW) and PWA.

Reggie Bennett is an American former female professional wrestler most known for her work in Joshi Puroresu organizations such as All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling. She began her wrestling career in the independent Californian circuit in 1986. After making her pro debut, she was signed to the Ladies Professional Wrestling Association (LPWA) . Reggie participated in the LPWA Japan Title tournament during the February 23, 1992 pay-per-view LPWA Super Ladies Showdown losing by disqualification in the semi-final round.

Reggie Bennett - Womens Wrestling

Reggie signed with All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling in 1994 and competed there for several years. She faced Chigusa Nagayo at the Big Egg Wrestling Universe show at the Tokyo Dome on November 20, 1994. She won the IWA World Women's Championship on May 15, 1995, defeating Manami Toyota. At the time, Toyota also held the WWWA World Heavyweight Championship, the most prestigious title in Japanese women's wrestling, although that title was not on the line in that match. She lost the IWA belt later in 1995 to Takako Inoue. Bennett then went on to capture the All Pacific Championship by defeating Mariko Yoshida and then Kaoru Ito in a tournament on June 22, 1996, although she would again lose her title to Takako Inoue.

On April 12, 1997, Bennett was one of the featured speakers at a banquet honoring Terry Funk. The following night at ECW Barely Legal, she debuted as a member of Raven's Nest interfering with the ECW Heavyweight Championship match between Funk and Raven.

On November 14, 1997, Bennett joined ARSION, forming a monster heel stable of American wrestlers with newcomer Jessica Soto, who was billed as Reggie's younger sister Jessica Bennett. The duo was one of the featured teams in the Twinstar of Arsion tournament and video collection.

Bennett married the Japanese musician Kenji Ishihara in August 2000. Later that year she decided to retire from wrestling, fighting Manami Toyota in her farewell match on March 4, 2001. Following her retirement, her career was memorialized in the video release Reggie Bennett in Japan.

Bennett also had small roles in a number of films, first appearing in Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone (1983). She also had a cameo role in the Sylvester Stallone film Over the Top (1987).

Jackie Moore - Part 4

wwe, wwe divas, female wrestling, women wrestling, wrestling women
In late-2001, Jacqueline remained loyal to the WWF throughout The Invasion, feuding with Alliance members Stacy Keibler, Torrie Wilson, Ivory and Mighty Molly. She took part in the six pack challenge for the vacant WWF Women's Championship on November 18 at Survivor Series 2001, which was won by Trish Stratus. Several weeks later, Jacqueline challenged Trish for the title at Vengeance 2001. Jacqueline dominated the match but was surprised by a backslide pin, costing herself victory and another championship reign. Jacqueline and Trish shook hands before and after the match in a show of good sportsmanship.

In 2002, Jacqueline became a referee, with her debut match being a Women's Championship bout between Jazz and Trish Stratus at the 2002 Royal Rumble. At WrestleMania X8 she refereed a match pitting Mr. Perfect, Lance Storm and Test against Scotty 2 Hotty, Albert and Rikishi on the Sunday Night HEAT pre-show. Jacqueline wrestled infrequently throughout 2002, receiving several title shots, none of which were successful. In late 2002, she and Trish Stratus began a feud with Victoria and Jazz, which culminated in a four way match for the title at Judgment Day 2003 on May 18, which Jazz won. She took part in a battle royal for the title on June 30, which was won by the debuting Gail Kim.

Jacqueline seldom appeared throughout late 2003 and early 2004, instead spending some of her time working as a trainer in Ohio Valley Wrestling. On the May 6, 2004 episode of SmackDown!, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero, Jr. issued an open challenge for anyone to face him for his title, and Jacqueline answered. Jacqueline defeated Chavo in an upset victory. Jacqueline was defeated by Chavo's father, Chavo Classic, in a non-title match on the May 13 episode of SmackDown!, and on May 16 at Judgment Day 2004. She lost the Cruiserweight Championship back to Chavo Guerrero, Jr. in a match where Chavo's arm was tied behind his back.

In June 2004, Jacqueline was released from World Wrestling Entertainment.

Jacqueline debuted in TNA Wrestling on the November 7, 2004 Victory Road 2004 pay-per-view, losing to Trinity. She made a second appearance with TNA on December 5 at Turning Point 2004, where she refereed a tag team match between Pat Kenney and Johnny B. Badd and Johnny Swinger and Glenn Gilberti.

In 2006, Jacqueline appeared at several TNA-branded house shows produced by the United Wrestling Federation. She returned to TNA proper at Final Resolution 2007 on January 14, 2007 as Miss Tennessee eventually reverting to "The Pride of Tennessee" Jackie Moore (Sometimes Ms. Jackie Moore as well), joining forces with James Storm by attacking his erstwhile manager, Gail Kim. Storm and Moore teamed up to defeat Kim and Petey Williams at both Against All Odds and Destination X, with the latter being a "Rub and Tug" match. Moore was defeated by Kim at Lockdown 2007 in TNA's first women's cage match.

Recently, during a Street Fight with Gail Kim on iMPACT!, Moore had her two front teeth knocked out of her mouth.

Jackie Moore - Part 3

womens pro wrestling, wrestling women wwe
P.M.S. gained a "Love slave" named Meat in May 1999. In the same month, the stable expanded once more to incorporate Ryan Shamrock, who had been spurned by the womanizing Val Venis. Shamrock left both the stable and the WWF in the following months, while Terri and Jacqueline assisted Meat in his matches. Tension began to grow between the two women as Terri (kayfabe) exhausted Meat with hours of sex before his matches and then berated her fatigued lover when he lacked the energy to win matches. Jacqueline left the stable after Terri forced Meat to kiss her feet on the August 1 episode of Sunday Night HEAT.

On the September 6 episode of RAW, Jacqueline faced the misogynistic Jeff Jarrett in advance of his Intercontinental Championship match with Chyna. Jarrett squashed Jacqueline, choked her with the ring ropes, forced her to submit with the figure four leglock, and broke a guitar over her head.

Jacqueline soon returned to her pursuit of the Women's Wrestling Championship, which she failed to win from Ivory in a three way hardcore match which also included Luna on November 18. On November 25, Jacqueline defeated Ivory in a "gravy bowl match" to win the Golden Ladle Trophy. At Armageddon 1999 on December 12, she took part in a four way evening gown match for the Women's Wrestling Championship but was stripped following a combined assault from her opponents, Ivory, Miss Kitty and B.B..

Jacqueline won the WWF Women's Wrestling Championship for a second time on February 1 by defeating Harvey Wippleman (who had won the belt from Miss Kitty while in drag and calling himself "Hervina") in a very short match. Her reign lasted throughout February and March, with Jacqueline defeating Ivory and Lita to retain the title. On March 28, she was challenged by Stephanie McMahon, and the inexperienced Stephanie defeated Jacqueline following extensive interference from D-Generation X.

Jacqueline's requests for a rematch were denied, and she lost a battle royal for the number one contendership to Lita. On the July 2 episode of Sunday Night HEAT, WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Dean Malenko challenged "anyone with enough manhood" to face him. After Jacqueline came to the ring, Malenko explained that he had said "manhood, not somebody from the hood." Jacqueline was granted a title shot, but submitted to Malenko's Texas cloverleaf.

Throughout August and September, Jacqueline feuded with WWF Women's Wrestling Champion Lita, aligning herself with Edge and Christian to counter the presence of Lita's constant companions, The Hardy Boyz. She received further title shots on October 9 and November 2, but failed to unseat Lita on both occasions.

The Acolyte Protection Agency (Faarooq and Bradshaw) recruited Jacqueline on the December 18 episode of RAW, asking her to take care of Trish Stratus while they fought Stratus' clients, T & A. In the resulting six person tag match, Jacqueline pinned Stratus. On the December 21 episode of SmackDown!, Jacqueline challenged Right to Censor member Ivory to a title match. After the other members of R.T.C. distracted Jacqueline and enabled Ivory to pin her, the A.P.A. repaid the favor by saving Jacqueline from a group beating after the match.

The feud between the A.P.A. and R.T.C. continued throughout early-2001 and culminated in a match at WrestleMania X-Seven on April 1, which pitted R.T.C. (Bull Buchanan, The Goodfather and Val Venis) against The A.P.A. and Tazz. In the early stages of the match, Jacqueline DDT'ed Stevie Richards, the leader of R.T.C. who had accompanied them to ringside. R.T.C. lost the match after Bradshaw pinned The Goodfather.

In mid-2001, Jacqueline, along with Tazz, Al Snow and Tori, became a trainers on the MTV reality TV series Tough Enough.

Jacqueline DeLois Moore known as Jacqueline is an American professional wrestler and actress. She is currently working for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as "The Pride of Tennessee" Jackie Moore.

Jacqueline was a professional wrestling fan as a child, and began training under Skandor Akbar after she met him in a gym. She was the only female in his school, preparing her for a career in which she would often wrestle against men. She debuted in 1989 in the Texas-based World Class Championship Wrestling promotion as Sweet Georgia Brown.

In 1992 Jacqueline moved on to the United States Wrestling Association in Memphis, where she was known as Miss Texas. She became a fixture in the women's division, which she would dominate for four years. She was the first ever USWA Women's Champion, winning the newly created title in a tournament on March 2, 1992. She lost the title to Lauren Davenpot on April 13, and regained the title on August 24. Feuding with Davenport, Moondog Fifi and Leslie Belanger, she held the title two more times in 1992 and three times in 1993. Throughout 1993, she wrestled WWF stars Sensational Sherri and Luna Vachon. She was out of the title picture for much of 1994, only winning the title once, on December 5, but enjoyed four more reigns in 1995. She held the title a thirteenth and fourteenth time in 1996 before losing her final USWA Women's Championship to Tasha Simone on November 4, 1996.

In November 1995 Jacqueline made five appearances with Smoky Mountain Wrestling in Kentucky and Tennessee as Sgt. Rock. She defeated Ron Davis in her debut match, then feuded with The Wolfman throughout the remainder of the month.

Jacqueline began submitting her resume to the Atlanta, Georgia-based World Championship Wrestling, and was eventually contacted by WCW employee J.J. Dillon, who offered her a contract. She debuted in WCW in January 1997 as the on-screen girlfriend of Kevin Sullivan, then feuding with his estranged wife, Woman, and her boyfriend, Chris Benoit. The two couples fought one another until Benoit defeated Sullivan in a retirement match. At Road Wild on August 9, Jacqueline became the valet of Harlem Heat. She later engaged in a brief feud with Disco Inferno, who she defeated in an upset victory at Halloween Havoc 1997 on October 26.

Jackie Moore's contract was allowed to expire in 1998.

WWE Diva Ivory - Part 3

In early 2002, Moretti served as a trainer in the second series of Tough Enough. After the World Wrestling Federation was renamed "World Wrestling Entertainment" and the roster was split into two "brands", RAW and SmackDown!, Moretti was drafted to the SmackDown! brand. She briefly feuded with Tough Enough winner Linda Miles before leaving WWE television to travel the world promoting WWE house shows. Along with several other SmackDown! wrestlers, Moretti was traded to RAW in exchange for The Big Show in November 2002. Throughout the remainder of 2002, she teamed with Victoria and feuded with Trish Stratus.

Throughout 2003, Moretti wrestled sporadically in the women's division, challenging for the Women's Championship on several occasions. Her only pay-per-view appearance in the course of the year was on December 14 at Armageddon 2003, where she unsuccessfully challenged Molly Holly for the Women's Championship. She also served as a trainer in the third series of Tough Enough. Ivory's last match in WWE was during an episode of Heat in late December 2003, where she fought Victoria in a #1 Contenders Match. However, Victoria won the match with the Widow's Peak.

In early 2004, Moretti spent nine weeks working as a trainer at the WWE developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling. In May 2004, she and Todd Grisham began hosting WWE Experience, a weekly television show that recapped events from RAW and SmackDown!. In January 2005, Moretti's contract was restructured to reflect her role as an announcer, and the new contract entitled her to wrestle on the independent circuit. WWE Experience was cancelled in August 2005. On July 22, 2005, several weeks before WWE Experience ended, WWE announced that Moretti's contract would not be renewed.

After leaving WWE, Moretti began working in the landscaping industry. Following Hurricane Katrina, she became involved in charity work aimed at assisting the victims of hurricanes. Moretti also wrestled sporadically on the independent circuit (under her own name, as WWE had trademarked "Ivory"). On November 19, 2005 in Spartanburg, South Carolina at "A Tribute to StarrCade", she teamed with Bambi to defeat Team Blondage (Krissy Vaine and Amber O'Neal) for the CCW Tag Team Championship. On April 21, 2006 in Surrey, British Columbia, Moretti defeated Rebecca Knox for the SuperGirls Championship. She lost the title to Nattie Neidhart on October 8, 2006, in Newark, California.

Ivory, part 2

Moretti began challenging for the Women's Championship by April. After severing her connections with D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry, she won the title on June 14, by defeating Debra with the assistance of Nicole Bass. Moretti defended her title against plants and jobbers for several weeks, then went on to retain her title in a bout with Tori at SummerSlam 1999 on August 22. Moretti continued to feud with Tori in the weeks following SummerSlam, defeating her in the first ever WWF women's Hardcore Match on September 6. Next, Moretti was challenged by Luna Vachon, who Moretti defeated in a Hardcore Match at Unforgiven 1999 on September 26.

In October 1999, Moretti feuded with the The Fabulous Moolah, who defeated her for the Women's Championship on October 17, 1999 at No Mercy 1999. She defeated Moolah in a rematch on the October 25 episode of RAW, winning her second Women's Championship. Her second title reign ended with a loss to Miss Kitty in a Four Way Swimming Pool Evening Gown Match on December 12 at Armageddon 1999.

In late 1999, Moretti began playing a more conservative character, labeling audience members who enjoyed risque matches "perverts". On January 23, at the 2000 Royal Rumble, she grudgingly took part in the "Miss Royal Rumble" swimsuit contest, which was won by Mae Young. She challenged Jacqueline for the Women's Championship throughout early 2000, but was unsuccessful on each occasion. On the March 23 episode of SmackDown!, Moretti attempted to win the Hardcore Championship by breaking a jar on champion Crash Holly's head while giving him a massage and then attempting to pin him.

After an absence, Moretti returned to WWF television on October 23, 2000 as a member of the conservative Right to Censor faction. The change in gimmick saw her don less suggestive ring attire and adopt a severe bun. Moretti quickly began a feud with Women's Champion Lita, and on the October 31 episode of SmackDown!, she won the Women's Championship by defeating Lita, Jacqueline and Trish Stratus in a Fatal Four Way Match. She retained the title against both Lita at the 2000 Survivor Series on November 19 with the assistance of R.T.C. leader Steven Richards and in a Triple Threat Match against Trish Stratus and Molly Holly at Armageddon 2000 on December 10.

After Chyna posed for Playboy Magazine in late 2000, she incurred the wrath of Right To Censor, and on the December 11 episode of RAW, Moretti and Val Venis delivered a double-team piledriver to Chyna, (kayfabe) injuring her neck.

Chyna challenged Moretti for the Women's Championship at the 2001 Royal Rumble on January 21, 2001. Moretti retained her title when she pinned Chyna after Chyna appeared to reaggrevate her neck injury. Chyna challenged Moretti for the title once more at WrestleMania X-Seven on April 1 and squashed Moretti in a brief match, thus ending Moretti's third reign as Women's Champion. Right To Censor disbanded shortly thereafter, with each of the member disappearing from WWF television.

Moretti returned to WWF television on the August 6, 2001 episode of RAW, joining The Alliance. She went on to manage The Hurricane, assisting him in his feud with Matt Hardy. In September 2001, she also managed Lance Storm. At No Mercy 2001 on October 21, Storm and The Hurricane were defeated by the Hardy Boyz. Moretti went on to compete in the women's division, and on November 18 at the 2001 Survivor Series, she participated in a six pack challenge for the vacant Women's Championship, which Trish Stratus won.

Ivory-WWE-WWE Diva

Lisa Mary Moretti (born November 26, 1961 in Torrance, California) is an American professional wrestler. She is perhaps best known for her appearances with the World Wrestling Federation and World Wrestling Entertainment between 1999 and 2005 under the ring name Ivory.

In 1986, Moretti attended an audition held by the newly formed Las Vegas, Nevada-based Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling professional wrestling promotion. She was successful in her audition, and went on to train under Mando Guerrero. and debuted in GLOW in 1986 as Tina Ferrari. Moretti teamed with Ashley Cartier as "T and A", with the duo winning the GLOW Tag Team Championship, and defeated Colonel Ninotchka to win the vacant GLOW Championship, represented by a crown. She held the crown for 17 episodes of GLOW: Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling before losing to Ninotchka. Like many of the GLOW wrestlers, she wore a thong type outift which led to oftern provocative poses in the ring.

After the founder of GLOW, David McLane, left the promotion in the late 1980s, Moretti left GLOW and joined McLane's newly formed Powerful Women of Wrestling promotion. Moretti wrestled in PWOW under the ring names Nina and Tina Moretti, winning the POWW Championship on two occasions. She remained with the promotion until it went bankrupt, at which point she largely left the wrestling industry.

In 1999, Moretti returned to wrestling, signing a contract with the World Wrestling Federation. Her first appearance in WWF was as one of The Godfather's anonymous "Hos".

On the February 13, 1999 episode of RAW, Moretti was introduced as Ivory, the love interest of Mark Henry, who had repeatedly been spurned by Chyna. Moretti managed the tag team of Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown, assisting them in their feud with Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart. Her interference in matches led to several confrontations between Moretti and Debra, Jarrett's Manager. Moretti made her televised WWF in-ring debut on the February 15 episode of RAW, teaming with Brown to face Jarrett and Debra in an intergender tag team match that ended in a no-contest. Moretti faced Debra in a single match on the March 1 episode of RAW, defeating Debra by disqualification after she was attacked by the Pretty Mean Sisters (P.M.S.). She went on to feud with P.M.S. throughout March. At WrestleMania XV on March 28, Moretti accompanied D-Lo Brown and Test to the ring for their World Tag Team Championship title match against Jarrett and Hart. Jarrett and Hart retained their titles following interference from P.M.S. and Debra.

UK Women's Wrestling - Mitzi Mueller

Mitzi Mueller was one of the UK's first women wrestlers and her husband Brian Dixon is a wrestling promoter. In fact they first met when Brian refereed a match of Mitzi's against Hellcat Haggerty, accidentally stepping on Mitzi's long blonde hair whilst doing so! Mitzi eventually forgive Brian and they did get married as they toured together around the UK. They have a daughter Letitia, who toured as well before deciding to become a wrestling announcer. She's just married Dean, who is - you guessed it - a wrestler!

" K.Os are not the norm in women's bouts as being of lighter build it is not always possible for a woman to land a K.O. blow. K.Os I have witnessed include a judo chop to the chest delivered by Mitzi Muller on Sue Brittain, this brought an instant K.O. "
