Vicki Williams - Classic Women Wrestling

Here is a great couple of shots of retired female wrestler Vicki Williams.
Vicki was born on April 21, 1956 in Savannah, Georgia and made her wrestling debut in 1970, after being trained by The Fabulous Moolah.
During her career, she held the National Wrestling Alliance Women's World Tag Team Championship twice with Joyce Grable and the Universal Wrestling Association World Women's Championship three times.
The Universal Wrestling Association World Women's Championship was a title that she held in Mexico.

WWE Survivor Series (1987)

At the first Survivor Series pay-per-view event produced by the then World Wrestling Federation (WWF), The Fabulous Moolah, Rockin' Robin, Velvet McIntyre, and The Jumping Bomb Angels (Itsuki Yamazaki and Noriyo Tateno) defeated Sensational Sherri, The Glamour Girls (Leilani Kai and Judy Martin), Donna Christanello, and Dawn Marie (with Jimmy Hart).
The Jumping Bomb Angels became the survivors for Moolah's team and won the match.

Misty Blue Simmes - Female Pro Wrestlers

Diane Syms was born on February 8, 1962 in Glens Falls, New York.
But she is better known to Old School wrestling fans as Misty Blue Simmes, or just Misty Blue.

Misty started out boxing, but went on to Killer Kowalski's famous wrestling school where she trained for 18 months.
She worked for the American Wrestling Association (AWA), the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and the Ladies Professional Wrestling Association (LPWA) where she tag teamed with Heidi Lee Morgan.
Misty also did some work with World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

How tough was Misty?
She once competed in an eight person mixed tag team match teaming with Dusty Rhodes, Nikita Koloff, and Barry Windham against Jim Cornette, The Midnight Express, and Dick Murdoch.
You get in the ring with Rhodes, Koloff and Murdoch...that's a whole 'nother level.

Toni Rose vs Judy Grable - Female Professional Wrestling

Last time I posted some pictures of classic female pro wrestlers in action.
One of the pictures that I posted was from a match between Toni Rose and Judy Grable.
People seemed to like that pic so much that I decided to post more from that match.

Five foot five Toni Rose was trained by the The Fabulous Moolah, and during her career held the NWA Women's World Tag Team Championship four times
Twice with The Fabulous Moolah and twice with her longtime tag team partner Donna Christanello.
Toni also held the Georgia version of the NWA Southern Women's Championship.

Judy Grable aka "The Barefoot Contessa" was also trained by The Fabulous Moolah at her training school in Columbia, South Carolina.
During her career she also held the NWA Southern Women's Championship, but she held it twice.

Madusa's Birthday!

Back on February 9th, 1964, WCW and WWF / WWE wrestler Debrah Anne Miceli was born in Milan, Italy.
Yes "Made in the USA" was actually born in Italy.
Besides "Madusa", she also wrestled under the name Alundra Blayze.

She debuted in 1984 and worked for wrestling promotions like American Wrestling Association (1986 to 1989), All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling (1989 to 1991), World Championship Wrestling (1991 to 1993 and again from 1995 to 2001) and the World Wrestling Federation (1993 to 1995)

Rebecca Quin is an Irish professional wrestler better known by her ring name, Rebecca Knox, or K-nox.
She made her professional debut on November 11, 2002. Knox would begin working in promotions all over Europe by 2005 including France's all-female promotion Queens of Chaos.

On June 24, 2005, Rebecca defeated Miss Chevius to become the first ever ECCW NWA Supergirls Champion. She would hold the title for over nine months including successful title defenses against LuFisto and Cheerleader Melissa. Rebecca would eventually lose the title on April 21, 2006 to Lisa Moretti.

In November of 2005, Rebecca completed a two-week tour of Japan wrestling for IWGP. She was undefeated over the course of the tour winning all seven matches in which she was involved. During this tour, on November 9, 2005, Rebecca won an 18-person (9 women, 9 men) battle royal.

Rebecca would go on to work for several independent wrestling promotions including SHIMMER Women Athletes, Ring Divas' Battle Angels, ECCW, AWA UK and Catch Wrestling Association.

On June 4, 2006, Rebecca defeated Sweet Saraya to become the Fighting Spirit Federation Women's Champion or better known as The Queen of Chaos.

On September 23, 2006, She lost the Queen of Chaos title to Sweet Saraya in the UK.

On October 11, 2006, it was posted on Rebecca's website that she had suffered a potentially career threatening head injury during a match in Germany that took place on September 26, 2006. Given the symptoms Knox was suffering in the days following the match, it was believed by doctors that damage extended to the 8th Cranial Nerve and a brain scan would need to be conducted to determine the severity of damage. The rest of her wrestling dates were canceled for the 2006 year and no official updates have been given regarding her condition as of January 2008.
