Former womens pro wrestler Princess Victoria (Vickie Otis) was trained by Sandy Barr in Portland, Oregon.
She started out feuding with another wrestler Sandy Barr trained, Velvet McIntyre.
They feuded in Vancouver All Star Wrestling and into NWA Pacific Northwest before finally teaming up and becoming a tag team.
On May 13th, 1984 in Calgary, Canada, Victoria and Velvet won the NWA Women's Tag Team Championship, defeating Joyce Grable and Wendi Richter.
When the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) withdrew from the NWA, the pair were recognized as holding the WWF Women's Tag Team Championship.
Victoria only remained one half of the tag team for a little over a year though, as she retired from wrestling in 1984 and was replaced by Desiree Petersen.

Before retiring, Princess Victoria had a few singles matches against the WWF Women's Champion The Fabulous Moolah, and also wrestled in Japan, as you can see in this clip posted by pto006, of Victoria taking on joshi puroresu star Mimi Hagiwara for the Japanese wrestling promotion, AJW...

Princess Victoria was one of my fave lady wrestlers. She was cute, shapely, feminine, graceful, and was a darn good wrestler. It's too bad that she was in WWF for just a short while - she defo should have been around MUCH longer. I wanted to see her win the Ladys Championship belt but it didn't happen.
It would be great to again have gal grapplers like her, Velvet McIntyre, Wendy Richter, Madusa, and others like we had in those days.
