Daizee debuted on March 29, 2002, using a hippie stoner gimmick. She initially worked for the Gateway Championship Wrestling federation based in Missouri, where she got her training, until moving on to IWA Mid-South as the valet of Matt Sydal, then began competing in the women's Wrestling division.
Daizee Haze was trained by the wrestler Delirious, and much like Delirious, Daizee Haze chooses to wear very colorful and unique ring attire at times. She is one of the most talented female wrestlers currently on the independent circuit. She initially debuted in Ring of Honor along the side of Matt Sydal, and had a brief women's wrestling feud with Allison Danger during Danger's solo days away from the Prophecy, before she left ROH and returned alongside Christopher Daniels. When her managed wrestler Matt Sydal joined Generation Next, Daizee Haze became the valet of Generation Next for a brief time. On November 5th 2005 at ROH's Vendetta show, the main event was an 8 man war, featuring the Embassy, represented by Alex Shelley, Jimmy Rave, Abyss and Prince Nana himself, vs AJ Styles (who substituted Roderick Strong due to his World Title match the same night), and Generation Next, represented by Austin Aries, Jack Evans and Matt Sydal. They were accompanied by Daizee Haze, the valet of Matt Sydal, and Jade Chung, who had been mistreated and borderline physically abused in public at ringside by Prince Nana before leaving the Embassy on October 1st 2005 at ROH's Joe vs Kobashi show, being sheltered from the Embassy by Roderick Strong. This just added more shock value to the ending of the main event of Vendetta, which saw Prince Nana pull Daizee Haze in the ring by the hair, and almost immediately she was saved by Austin Aries and Matt Sydal. However, Daizee Haze delivered a low blow to both Aries and Sydal, and after a brief confrontation with Jade Chung, she delivered a Daizee Cutter to Chung and joined the Embassy.
Alongside working with ROH, Daizee is a mainstay in the SHIMMER female wrestling promotion based out of Chicago.
During 2006 Daizee had a big winning streak in Chikara singles competition holding victories over Allison Danger (twice), Sara del Rey, Alere Little Feather, Mickie Knuckles and Portia Perez.
On September 1st and 2nd 2006 Daizee defeated Cheerleader Melissa, Allison Danger and KAORU to win the APW ChickFight 6 Tournament.
