Becky Bayless to TNA

Well as pretty much everybody and their brother are reporting, TNA has signed Becky Bayless to a contract.
She had a try-out match last week, and now the number two wrestling promotion has signed both Becky and Rob Eckos as a parody of "Jersey Shore" stars Snooki and The Situation.
Becky's ring name is rumored to be "Cookie"...like "Snooki"....get it?
Although Becky is way better looking than her MTV counterpart.

Becky (whose real name is Rebecca Treston) was born on February 3rd, 1982, and made her wrestling debut in 2002.
She was trained by Ring of Honor (ROH) and TNA star Homicide.

Becky has worked for wrestling promotions like Ring of Honor, Wrestlicious, Women's Extreme Wrestling, Full Impact Pro and Shimmer Women Athletes.

Mia Yim Updates

mia yim-female wrestling-women pro wrestling pictures

Things have been happening quite fast for the lovely Mia Yim since I did my last write up on her.

She took on former WWE diva Mickie James in a match at Maryland Championship Wrestling, and had a try-out match (with Taylor Wilde) for TNA wrestling.
Unfortunately Mia didn't get picked up by TNA.
Their loss.
I think Mia would have made a great addition to a struggling TNA roster.
You know, the only spark of life the Knockouts division had was when they started hiring Indy female wrestlers.

But don't fret for Mia.
She'll be staying plenty busy working for wrestling promotions like ROH (Ring of Honor), CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling) and more.

As I mentioned last time, you can keep up with Mia here...

Alundra Blayze - Madusa at the WWE

You may remember her as Madusa (Made in the USA) or Alundra Blayze, but if you paid any attention to female wrestling in the 1980s and 90s, you know who Debra Miceli was.
Debra worked for wrestling promotions like All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, American Wrestling Association, International World Class Championship Wrestling and of course World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF).
She was also the first woman ever to be awarded Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Rookie of the Year award.
And a lot of us remember when she showed up on WCW Monday Nitro and threw the WWF Women's Title belt into a trash can.

Well all seems to be forgiven with the WWE now, because they are running a "Where Are They Now?" on Alundra Blayze (as she was called in the WWF).

"It was a cold night in December of 1995 when Alundra Blayze walked out in front of a capacity crowd in Georgia's Richmond County Civic Center with the WWE Women's Championship in her hands. The reaction was tremendous, but that wasn't surprising. After all, the woman born Debrah Miceli was enjoying her third run with the title and had been performing in front of huge audiences with WWE for the past three years."
